Executive Director: Jennifer Clancy

Jennifer Clancy has been working with the Friends of Alta since 2005. She was working as the Exeuctive Assistant until January of 2008 when she moved into the Executive Director's position. Jen grew up in the small town of Freedom, NH and earned a B.S. in Wildlife Management at the University of New Hampshire. As ski enthusiasts have been doing for years she moved to Utah in 2002 for the "powder" skiing, she quickly discovered that Alta has more to offer than just great skiing. Jen also serves on the Board of Directors for Alta Community Enrichment (ACE), another non-profit organization in the town of Alta.

 Executive Assistant: Merebea Danforth

Merebea joined Friends of Alta in June 2012. She grew up an avid skier and sailor in Rhode Island. Her family were winter weekend warriors to New Hampshire and headed west to Alta during school vacations. After graduating from Brown University with a B.A. in Human Ecology in 2006, Merebea moved to Alta for a winter of skiing. Though she misses the ocean, the skiing and community she found in Alta led her to make her home here.
