There are many ways to be part of our work, and we are grateful for all of them. We’ve listed some of the other ways you can support our efforts. Contact us for more details or to discuss another way you’d like to help our cause.
- Donations of services such as photography, research, or educational resources
- Annual contributions
- Gifts of cash, stock or bonds
- Gifts of Securities. When you give appreciated securities, you may receive an immediate tax deduction and savings on capital gains taxes. Your gift of stock or mutual funds can also be used to fund a charitable gift annuity. You can make a gift of appreciated securities to Friends of Alta while diversifying your portfolio and/or securing a stream of income.
- A grant through your donor-advised fund, or DAF. Use DAF Direct to recommend a grant through Fidelity or Schwab Charitable donor-advised fund with no fees.

Attend the Alta Gala
Each year we partner with Alta Community Enrichment (ACE) and the Alta Historical Society to hold the Alta Gala Fundraiser. We want to acknowledge and share our deepest appreciation for the sponsorship and support of Alta Ski Area; their help makes this event a true success.
Use Alta Shuttle For Your Transportation Needs
2% of all Alta Shuttle services to/from the Town of Alta during the winter are donated to FOA. Special thanks to Alta Shuttle, Tom, the shuttle drivers, and Alta Shuttle’s patrons for supporting FOA.
