As many of you may know, Bill was an integral part of Friends of Alta helping found this non-profit back in 1981. Over the last 30 years with Bill's Advisory role Friends of Alta has matured into a viable organization with a key niche in Alta's community. FOA will continue to carrying on Bill's passion for, and protection of, Alta's environment and community for future generations.
A memorial tree was planted for Bill Levitt on August 26, 2010 at memorial grove in Albion Basin. Click here for the photos. Thanks to all the hard working volunteers for their help with the planting.
