SAVE THE DATE: ALTA GALA APRIL 7th

Join us in 2017 for the 11th year of the Alta Gala!
The Alta Gala is an annual collaborative fundraiser for Alta Community Enrichment (ACE), Friends of Alta and Alta Historical Society. The goal is to raise awareness of the arts, environment and history of Alta. Food, drinks, dancing, photos and a silent auction with mobile bidding will be the highlight of the Gala. Your Alta Gala ticket includes one Alta Ski Area day ticket – good until December 15, 2017.

Music:
Rumba Libre, a Latin & Salsa Band
Music in the pavilion will be a Venezulan Harpist

*ACE is hosting three Spanish Dance Classes; Flamenco, Salsa & Meringue, in preparation for the Alta Gala dance floor.  All classes are free, start at 5:30pm and located at Our Lady of the Snows.

 – Salsa Dance Class, Monday, March 6th
 – Merengue Dance Class, Monday, March 20th

Shuttles:
Alta Shuttle will again donate van service to the Alta Gala to/from locations in the town of Alta for free. Shuttles will leave Alta at 6:40pm, 7pm, and 7:30pm. Shuttles will start returning to Alta at 10pm. Space is limited and reservations are based on first come first serve basis – don’t delay, call now to reserve your seat! This year we ask that you contact Alta Shuttle directly at 801-274-0225. Tips are encouraged. Thanks Alta Shuttle!

Parking:
Please note that parking at La Caille is by valet service only, they will charge $5 per vehicle.

Dress:
La Caille is one of the more upscale restaurants in SLC.  We ask that men at least wear a collared shirt and slacks – no jeans please.  We encourage you to dress Latin Style!

Stellar Award:
The 2017 Stellar Award goes to Trainer Mahon of the Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge. This annual Award was created in 2009 as a part of the Alta Gala to pay special tribute to community figures for their unique and important roles helping to sustain our community. Read more about Stellar Award here.
