Summer Stewardship

In partnership with ADevilsCastleTrailWorklta Environmental Center, Cottonwood Canyons Foundation, Tree Utah, Tracy Aviary and Utah Society for Environmental Education we invite you to join us for a variety of Summer Stewardship activities this summer. Events include: Volunteer Weed Pulls on the Third Thursday of each month, Trail Work & Restoration Opportunities, the Wasatch Wildflower Festival, Tree Plantings (including FOA Memorial Tree Planting) and Bird Watching Events.

We are also seeking corporate/school/community partners for summer stewardship events. If your business or group or family would like to schedule a volunteer event in Alta, please contact Stella at stella@friendsofalta.org. We would love to work with you to set up a Weed Pull event, fun for all ages.

We are kicking off our Stewardship Season next week with the June Third Thursday Volunteer Weed Pull: June 25th, 6:00-8:00pm.
