Memorial trees were planted for:

I would also like to thank the Alta Environmental Center, Town of Alta and Tree Utah for their support of this effort.

Invasive Weed Pull & Restoration Work at Hellgate Condominiums
September 1, 2010

The meeting location is the Hellgate condos.
We will be removing invasive weeds and restoring the area just west of the Hellgate Condominiums.  Friends of Alta holds a conservation easement that was donated by the Hellgate owners on this parcel. This work is being done due to activities impacting the landscape from work done on the avalanche safety wall and due to flooding events this summer.

Please waer long pants, stury shoes, suncreen and bring enough water and food for the duration of the planting session.

Please contact Jen if your interested in attending at 801.742.9719 or info@friendsofalta.org.  This event is a collaborative effort with Hellgate Condominiums, Alta Environmental Center, and the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation.

Please RSVP to Jen if your interested in volunteering or have any questions: 801.742.9719 or info@friendsofalta.org.
